: Mini Bio :
Instead of writing a personal ad I'll give out information that readers would probably have more interest in. If you really want to see what's going on inside my head check out my livejournal. You'll get more than enough teenage drama there.
I got into anime officially when I was eleven with the Toonami block of Sailor Moon, DBZ, and Reboot (whatever happened to that show? It was awesome!) From there I slowly progressed to getting a hold of things that couldn't be seen on t.v. My first purchase was The Vision of EscaFlowne. I remembered watching it on Fox Kids and had recently discovered Animerica (R.I.P u_u) where I read a review on how Fox Kids had pretty much butchered the six episodes they aired (which they did). This led to watching other shows and the introduction to manga through Fushigi Yugi. Since the age of twelve I have consistently bought, purchased, and sold anime/manga and products there of.
The fandoms I enjoy reading and writing for are:
Full Metal Alchemist
Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy X
The Vision of EscaFlowne
And others that I just can't think of at the moment...
Anyway, my forte in writing is ANGST and I love, love, love to read it, but hate, hate, hate to expirience it. I've been known to write a comedy now and then, but I enjoy getting inside of a person's head and sorting out their thoughts. I prefer to read and write things in first person, but have recently begun to fully appreciate writing in the third person. I hate it when author's jump from first to third to first again (or vise-versa) because I find it's unprofessional. There are only a handful of people that can accomplish it successfully. I am also renowned for my one-shots (only in my mind) because I do not have to update them after they're published! I'm horrible with keeping timely updates and sometimes just never go back to the fics (though I always intend to someday...) I also enjoy reading one-shots because I can sometimes become impatient while reading or waiting for an update from a lazy author like myself :).
I mostly enjoy alternative rock, but find that I really enjoy the smooth voices of female artists with savvy lyrics like Dido, Ivy, Anna Nalick, Natalie Merchant, Paula Cole, Sarah McLachlan, Poe, and Alanis Morrisette (I know, not exactly smooth or soft on the last two) I absolutely love music, or more accurately, rock of the 90's. Lifehouse is probably my favorite band. I enjoy Nine Inch Nails, Evanescense, Linkin Park, the Dresden Dolls, Depeche Mode, Oasis, Pearl Jam, and Michael Crawford's beautiful voice (Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera = Love (except the movie which should DIE!)) As you can see, I like a bit of everything, but tend to shy away from rap and country music. Feel free to suggest something to me if you feel you have similar tastes :).
I suppose that's it that might have interested you, the poor soul who came across this blasted profile, as far as I'm concerned. Now here comes the real juicy stuff!

11/1/06- Naruto fandom ideas...
My seemingly undying love has returned for Naruto and I have started to approach it as a fandom worth writing for (hey, someone's gotta prove GOOD fanfiction can come from it). Also, it's just a festering pile of angst! ANGST! And you all know how I love to write that :). So I've started out with, surprisingly, several fics in the works.
First, there's The Butterfly Effect. I can tell it's going to be a very, very long fic. Hopefully I'll be able to handle it, but with it being so scewed up I'm bound to have some fun ^_^. It came about by connecting a series of 'what if' scenarios with the concept of The Butterfly Effect (both the movie and the actual theory). I'm not 100 sure about everything, but I've got enough ideas to fuel it.
Second, there's a semi-fic, which is more like a series of one-shots that interconnect with each other that I've dubbed The Watcher. That should be posted soon; I've finished the second half of it, but not the first, haha. They can each be read as a stand alone, but they're apart of a series. It's a small project, probably a little more than three chapters (if that). Basically it takes place after the time-skip, but before Naruto and Sakura meet up with Sasuke. During this time Sakura and Naruto get reaquinted with each other and express their views on Sasuke... Who happens to be watching them from the shadows.
Finally, there's a one-shot from Sasuke's POV (in the third person surprisingly) during his fight with Naruto, 'officially' ending his ties with Konoha. I'm not exactly sure how it's going to end; it may span to a two-shot or I may just make one-shots out of the other ideas... Not too sure. This has no title as of yet.
10/18/06 - More rambling of fics I plan to write!
I have LOTS of Full Metal Alchemist fics running around my head and many are actually Winry-centric, which is kind of odd for me. Blame it on her potential for angst. One story running around is a chaptered fic that switches between Winry's POV and Roy's POV. It's all about Winry discovering that Roy was the man behind her parents death and how she deals with it. For every chapter she learns something about Roy, in a positive or negative light, the next chapter is will be from Roy's POV in mostly flashback sequences. He'll remember the orders to kill the innocent doctors, doing so, attempted suicide, and the decision to confront the memory that continuously haunts him: The Daughter.
Most of my ideas are in the form of one-shots however. There's one in which Winry deals with losing Ed and Al forever, which may actually evolve into a a mutli-chapter fic... Two of the one-shots I'll really be concentrating on though are A) A fic from Al's POV after finally getting his body back, how he takes to the news and appearances of everyone and everything around him that four years of his life has been wiped from his mind. The other fic is Ed-centric and a death-fic. After two years Ed begins to loose hope and has trouble deciphering what's real and what isn't...
One other half-formed idea takes place in a chapter fic. Ed meets Winry's double on the otherside of the gate in during the rise of Nazi Germany and she's the Poster child for the Aryan race... Blue eyes, blonde hair, fair skin... But she has a secret that is a matter of life and death. She's Jewish.
Another half-formed fic is a Roy x Riza which I've dubbed Training Camp. As the name may suggest it's basically training camp and all those soldier people meeting and such... Yeah...
7/18/06 - Return of my rambling of fics I plan to write!
Now onto more important noteworthy things: To Die For. Yes, that blasted fic I've been working on since July 2003, I will finish it yet! I've revised the Prologue for what seems to me the zilionth time, but I think I've got it just the way I want it now. Also, the first chapter is just two parts away from being completed (minus revisions)! All I need is Kyo's encounter with Kagura and a small snippet of Kyo back home (very small). Yay! While I can't promise anything, I'd like to have this out by September. I've got a very good beta, but I fear they may be busy at the moment. If anyone else cares to be a beta drop me a line!
Second noteworthy aspiring fic: Its an untitled one about the night Kyo's 'true form' was revealed from his POV. Seems to be one of my favorite settings in the FB world doesn't it? Anyway, I didn't realize that I've been working on the blasted thing for a little OVER a year now! Where does the time go? Hopefully that'll be out soon; I mean it probably won't be much longer than Undying Love. On another note on this setting, I also plan to do yet peice except from Kazuma's POV. Maybe I should just make a small trilogy out of Undying Love and the other two. What do you guys think?
