Just so you know...
[I'm up for beta-ing stories, but here are a few things that you should know...]
1). I do tend to get a little carried away with past and present tense. [ex: 'She passes through on her way to the kitchen' vs. 'she passed through on her way to the kitchen.] Meaning, stick to one or the other unless referring to something in a flash-back. ...Actually, stick to one or the other.
2). Grammar. I'm an English Major so...I'm a stickler for complete sentances. I might miss some things from time to time, and I'll over-look minor things. I'm not a complete Grammar-Nazi, and I'm not perfect.
3). Weeaboos. Anyone who's gone onto LJ and read anything concerning Mary-Sues/Pit of Voles will know what I'm talking about. Unless you've been to Japan, are taking Japanese and or understand Japanese culture, please, please refrain from using suffixes. I understand that it's fun to use them, but some are misused and it just gets really annoying. I'm not going to be all Rage Quit on you guys but...it does get seriously annoying. I kid you not, this is what weeaboos make me want to do.


So that's it. Sorry if I come off as a bit of a bitch but...I've been there before. I've done this stuff, and I've still got a long, long way to go on my own writing. And on that note...anyone want to be my Beta? :)
