So why is it that the same ones are written about over and over again? There are so many bishies out there that are underappricated, folks! And I think they deserve a chance in the spotlight.
So my challenge is this: write a chaptered fic, a one-shot, a ficlet, or a drabble [collections are welcome too!] about one of those underappreciated guys! Some examples include Genesis and Angeal [Crisis Core], Zexion, Demyx, and Marluxia [Kingdom Hearts], Sven and Creed [Black Cat], or even Shamal and Ryohei [Katekyo Hitman Reborn!]. And it's most definetely not limited to that!
There's only two rules. You can breathe now.
1. Must be kept relatively clean - which means no lemons.
2. No yaoi or yuri.

Description: The reader is a vampire (comes from the most powerful vampire family) and may join the family. If the reader joins the family, she must have a ring (ex. the Ice ring, the Moon ring, etc.) and you'll have to create another Varia member for her to fight....(if you want, just borrow someone from another anime/manga...like Gin Ichimaru from Bleach....that's what I've been doing)
The pairing is up to you, but I would prefer a Yamamoto/Reader.
Whoever the reader is paired with knows that the reader is a vampire, but doesn't tell anyone. Other monsters (werewolves, kitsunes, etc.) come after her, trying to capture/kill her. The reader can have friends who are also monsters. The reader is very powerful and strong, a great fighter. The reader may also have other talents and be a good student (goes to the gangs school).
The stories about vampires aren't all true. They can go out in the sun, it just irritates the eyes a little, so most vampires like to stay out of it and only come out at night. Crosses and garlic don't effect them either. They also don't have to drink blood everyday. The reader only drinks blood once every few weeks, and even then, it's only a little, like from a scrape/cut. You can add a way for the reader to turn into a human if you want.
The reader can transform when she needs to....and what I mean by transform is her hair turns silver, eyes red, fangs are visible in mouth, is stronger and faster, better reflexes, etc. The reader has to forms, the one I just mentioned above (which appears when she needs it) and her normal form (so she can blend in easier, she wears a necklace, which hides her fangs and controls her urges (like when she gets mad or something)).
You can decide how her personality and all that other stuff if you want. You can use more characters than the ones I listed. Have fun!

Description: Hi! Well, I seem to have an idea, thought, challenge, whatever.
It seems that as I read through most stories (I apparently have alot of time with my work and school interacting, hehe ^-^;;) I have come across a pattern in characters. Such as Naruto falling in love with someone that cared for him unconditionally or the opposite characterization.
Or Tsuna falling in love with a character that hold's him in high regards or a character that rivals Kyoko.
Or even the character sympatizing with Kanda and find ways to cheer him up or something like that.
Although, I love reading them, it gets bland. That isn't to say that they aren't good but I was hoping for a wide variety of character types that the characters fall in love with.
So here's the challenge:
Create the most imperfect character for your main character to fall in love with.
For example:
Hibari meets a girl that happens to actually be cannabalistic. She happens to want to really eat him. And no matter how many times he beats her to a pulp, she comes back. Slowly, he falls in love with her.
These are the rules::
*- Can be any pairings, Yaoi, Yuri, Hetero, Bi, Metro; I don't mind.
*- Can be cannon, OC, Reader-Insert or whatever comes to mind.
*- Drabbles are okay, though it has to be clear in the interpretations.
*- If oneshot, avoid having the word count under 1500 words, please?
*- Clearly, these characters cannot be mary-sues or gary-stus.
*- You DON'T have to be exaggerated like I was with my example.
*- Can be any fandom you favor in the Games and Anime categories, although the one's listed will earn you brownie points.
