Description: This contest is simple: write a fanfic starring already-existing canon characters--and ONLY already-existing canon characters.
The rules are as follows:
1. The main protagonist of the fanfic MUST be a canon character.
2. Any secondary protagonists (i.e., the best friend, love interest, etc.) MUST be canon characters.
3. As much as possible, more minor roles (i.e., former love interest, mentor, etc) as well as roles occupied by antagonists should be taken by canon characters. The next time you get on a Bus, Train, Plane, or any other form of multi-person transport, even an elevator, Take a mental picture or write small details of the people that you're riding with. From there, write the results of what would happen if during your ride together on the (whatever you're riding) got sucked into a portal to hell and had to rally together to find your way out. Who will be the hero, who will have a cliche romance, who would die a horrificall painful death, etc?

This Challange is inspired by "I Will Follow You Into The Dark" By Death Cab For Cutie, pretty much just listen to the song and write what you think it is about but there are some limitations:
1) It cannot be over 20 chapters (If you write in chapters) or if you like to write one shots it has to be MORE than 400 words.
2) It can be in any POV you want, although be sure to include a lot of details if you write in first person
3)It has to be angst filled XD The song itself is sorta sad and sweet so it can have angst but be more borderline sweet.

Description: Here’s my challenge, inspired by Lyxari’s fantastic challenge ‘Seven Days’. Basically, I’ve seen a lot of fics all over the net about how bishounens coping with their other halves getting pregnant, though I think a lot of them lose their sense of canon realism for the sake of a happy ending more often than not (e.g. OMG I’m in High School and kind of in the middle of saving the world right now but you’re pregnant! YAY!). I doubt every single bishounen out there would react with the utmost joy at such life changing news and, even if they did, pregnancy is pretty well known for its tendency to go wrong.
The challenge here is that there are four different pregnancies to choose from and not all of them have happy endings. You can pick and choose between the pregnancies or do all of them if you like. The mother can be an OC/reader insert or canon character, I don’t mind, whichever you are most comfortable writing about. You can rename the chapter prompts if you wish, change the order they’re in and there's no deadline etc. Oh, and all fandoms are welcome :D.

So, my challenge to you is that you take AT LEAST 10 of the dates on the list and write about how that date went.

9. Write a piece of fiction together. Outside at a cafe. Ask strangers when you get stuck.

11.Do the lamest tourist thing in your area that you have both secretly wanted to do forever. Have an unabashed good time!
12.In the middle of the night, drive to the beach, so you arrive just as the sun is rising. Have a breakfast picnic, then fall asleep together. Bring a sun umbrella.
13.Drive somewhere unknown and have dinner in a city you’ve never been to. With fake names.
14.Go to a minor league baseball game under the stars. Tell each other stories about how bad you are at athletics. Randomly cheer for both teams. Eat lots of Cracker Jacks.
15.Go around the city with sidewalk chalk and draw hearts with equations inside on random things
16.Walk around a city and perform short silent plays in front of security cameras
17.With camera and pair of boots, make photolog of a day in the life of the invisible man.
18.Walk around the city all night and find a place to eat breakfast at dawn
19.Go to a restraunt and convince the cook to create something completely new for you.
20.Rent a movie you’ve never seen before. Set on mute and improvise dialogue.

Description: I just had this idea a little while ago, and I'm actually planning it out now, that I figured might make a fun challenge.
Basically you pick a man and a song starting with each letter of the alphabet and put them together as a chapter. So, you will have a pairing for each letter along with a corresponding song. (i.e. H - Hiei; Headstrong {By: Earshot}).
Naturally some will be harder than others, but that's what makes it a challenge. ;3

Some of them range from 1, 2, 3 , 4, 5 , 6 , 7 , 8 , 9 etc. And sometimes they have no stories at all. So I made this so the categories can get some attention and love at least.

Description: Hello, denizens of the Lunaescence challenge forum! Are you tired of challenges that require drabbles and/or collections of some kind? Do you want to write an actual story from beginning to end, with chapters and everything? Then I have a challenge for you!
I got the idea after titling my James Bond fan fiction “There and Back Again.”
So what do you do?
1. Pick a book—any book.
2. Open your book up to the table of contents.
3. Use the chapter titles as chapter titles for your own fan fiction.
The Catches?
1. Make sure your fan fiction fandom and the book are dissimilar enough to make things interesting.
For example:
Good: An Avengers fan fiction using the chapter titles from The Golden Compass.
Bad: A House of Night fan fiction using the chapter titles from Twilight.
Now obviously, I can’t stop you from doing this, but I think in the latter case it would be tempting to just write Twilight with House of Night characters.
2. No crossovers.
Don’t write a Katekyo Hitman Reborn! fan fiction using Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire chapters while using both fandoms and/or settings. The point is to write something of your own while using these chapter titles as inspiration not basis for a story.
3. No AUs.
This is fairly similar to Catch #2, but it still needs to be said. Your story must be set in the fandom of the story you are writing’s world, not the story of the book. For example, if you chose to write an Avengers fan fiction based on chapter titles from The Golden Compass, nobody should have daemons.
Any Other Rules?
1. Make sure not to copy the plot of novel you are working with, or what happens in a given chapter. Give things your own spin.
2. Still, make sure the chapter titles actually make sense with what happens in the chapter. It doesn’t have to fit perfectly, but it should make sense if the reader gives it some thought.
3. No skipping chapter titles. You must use every single one in your selected book.
4. No adding chapters. If you want a longer fan fiction, pick a longer book.
5. HOWEVER, this does not apply to prologues or epilogues. You may add these where there are none, or ignore them in books that have them.
6. You may use a manga for the chapter titles source, but only if the manga is completely finished. This is because you need to use every chapter.
7. You don’t have to give your fan fiction the same title as the book you are using as a chapter title source.
8. Make sure to give credit to your selected book in the author’s note of your first chapter.
9. Any sort of pairing goes. By that, I mean you can do heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, asexual, or any other type sexuality you wish.
10. You may use canon characters, reader characters, OCs, or any combination that you like.
11. You may use any point of view you prefer.
12. You may use any fandom you want—movies, anime, television, books, whatever you want!
13. You work has to be a story. No collections.
