Description: Could you understand beauty of the beast?

It's not hard to find reader-insert stories for pretty boys. But what about those who aren't so blessed in the look-departments? What about the men (or even women) who are a little... monstrous?

Basically, this is a challenge to write for tragically-monstrous characters. And no, I don't mean someone who's just "ugly"; I'm talking about people who don't look human.

Kisame and Zetsu from Naruto; Ryuk or Rem from Death Note; Pyramid Head from Silent Hill; Mewtwo from Pokémon; heck, the beast from Beauty and the Beast! Anyone who's not quite human-looking and preferably someone who doesn't get much love.

The only requirements to enter the challenge are:
It MUST be a reader-insert
And it MUST feature a relationship (friendship, romance, or otherwise) between the reader and a monstrous-looking character.
