Description: This is a test of wits, and your ability to repeat yourself without being redundant. What do I mean, you ask? Well, what I mean is this. I want you to select one of the catagories above, I really don't care which, and write a fanfiction story, fanfiction poem, original prose, or original poem, that meets the following requirements:

Your entry must have the word 'love' in it. Your entry must be at least fifty words long, no word cap above that. And, the real kicker, it must have four of the terms on the list below in the entry:

like, adore, worship, affection, fondness, devotion, passion, be mad/crazy about (or any form thereof).

^.^ Well, what are you hanging around here for? Are you going to write or sit there?

Also, in case you're wondering (which you're probably not...), this is a challenge dedicated to spring love!!!

Description: Straight from the depths of my mind, I present to you this challenge! The challenge is to write a story (from 100-15,000 words. I won't tear you a part if you're a few words under over) using one of the said instruments.

Rules: There's only two. You can breathe now.

1) You cannot present the instrument in something such as a band practice at school. That's too easy.

2) You can, however, have something along the lines of a person playing it on a street corner. I think that's a little harder to put in a story.

Now have fun and get writing!

Description: Pick out a song, any song that you like. Write down the lyrics in Word or something, with double spacing. Arrange the lyrics anyway desirable, and after each line write a line of what it reminds you of, or what it makes you think about. Copy YOUR lines (not the lyrics) and enter it in here with the title of the song. The song/poem with the most creative and original interpretation wins... What they win I have no clue... I'll beta read???? NO RESTRICTIONS ON SONGS OR POEM TYPES!!!

EDIT: I would like to thank ryusera for pointing out that numbers 97 and 106, Reason were both the same XD;; THANK YOU~! And I changed number 106, so for those of you who have already written something for repeated numbers, please feel free to either a) add it with your booklets as extra numbers, or b) replace it with a number/prompt you're having trouble with.

Again, any questions or if you catch a repeat, please feel free to let me know ^.^

[EDIT]: Please, if you respond to the challenge, make sure you mark it as a response. While filtering through the Most Recent, I just came across a couple of responses that I had no idea about, because I usually look at the Category and if I don't know it, I skip it. These one's only happen to catch my eye because they had '115' in the summary, and I'm pretty sure one of them was already completed. So, please, if you for get to mark it as a response, put my penname and the title challenge somewhere in the summary. Thank you ^.^

Description: I am a diehard fan of Ellen Hopkins and I love how she writes in poem form. So that is the challenge here. Write a fanfiction in poem form. Sadly, there are rules to follow.

Rules:
1. It must be longer than a oneshot. Sadly I don't think a oneshot would be appropriate for this challenge. It would be a HUGE poem and I don't think anyone could read it like that.
2. It does not have to rhyme, though it would be cool if you could do that. =]
3. Just for my Zeezy-kins, you may use OCs or Reader-Inserts! =] Isn't that wonderful?!

That is it! =] Now you can use any kind of poem in this challenge. You can use ALL the types if you like. And if you have not read Ellen Hopkins, you MUST. =] She is an amazing author and messes with your heads.

But enough is said. Write!

Description: Suuuu I am starting another challenge~ This one I can get out quicker than another challenge I’m working on (which is ridiculously long and you’ll see why when I eventually post it) because it’s all pretty much written for me. I got an email a looonnggg time ago, back in… *checks date ‘cause she printed it out* 2002, and the idea of it always stayed with me. So here it is:

Read all the way to the bottom! If you will take the time to read these, I promise you’ll come away with an enlightened perspective. The subjects covered affect all of us on a daily basis! They’re written by Andy Rooney, a man who has the gift of saying so much with so few words. Enjoy…

• I’ve learned…that the best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly person.
• I've learned...that when you're in love, it shows.
• I've learned...that just one person saying to me, "You've made my day!" makes my day.
• I've learned...that having a child fall asleep in your arms is one of the most peaceful feelings in the world.
• I've learned...that being kind is more important than being right.
• I've learned...that you should never say no to a gift from a child.
• I've learned...that I can always pray for someone when I don't have the strength to help him in some other way.
• I've learned...that no matter how serious your life requires you to be, everyone needs a friend to act goofy with.
• I've learned...that sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to understand.
• I've learned...that simple walks with my father around the block on summer nights when I was a child did wonders for me as an adult.
• I've learned...that life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.
• I've learned...that we should be glad God doesn't give us everything we ask for.
• I've learned...that money doesn't buy class.
• I've learned...that it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.
• I've learned...that under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.
• I've learned...that the Lord didn't do it all in one day. What makes me think I can?
• I've learned...that to ignore the facts does not change the facts.
• I've learned...that when you plan to get even with someone, you are only letting that person continue to hurt you.
• I've learned...that love, not time, heals all wounds.
• I've learned...that the easiest way for me to grow as a person is to surround myself with people smarter than I am.
• I've learned...that everyone you meet deserves to be greeted with a smile.
• I've learned...that there's nothing sweeter than sleeping with your babies and feeling their breath on your cheeks.
• I've learned...that no one is perfect until you fall in love with them.
• I've learned...that life is tough, but I'm tougher.
• I've learned...that opportunities are never lost; someone will take the ones you miss.
• I've learned...that when you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.
• I've learned...that I wish I could have told my Dad that I love him one more time before he passed away.
• I've learned...that one should keep his words both soft and tender, because tomorrow he may have to eat them.
• I've learned...that a smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.
• I've learned...that I can't choose how I feel, but I can choose what I do about it.
• I've learned...that when your newly born grandchild holds your little finger in his little fist, that you're hooked for life.
• I've learned...that everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you're climbing it.
• I've learned...that it is best to give advice in only two circumstances; when it is requested and when it is a life threatening situation.
• I've learned...that the less time I have to work with, the more things I get done.

Rules:

[1] Feel free to do all prompts or just the ones that stick out to you the most.

[2] Anything goes.

[3] Please, please try to keep it to the categories listed if you possibly can; I will, however, accept something that is not on the list.

[4] Be creative and have fun~!

As a note, it would be totally incredibly awesome if you could fix all these into a series (or choose ones that wouldn’t seem common place in a particular series amongst the characters) around characters that it wouldn’t kinda sorta fit and still make it as IC as possible~ ^.^ But as I said, anything goes, so feel free to have fun and play around and put your imagination to work! XD

[13]"My feelings are on a diet, avoiding the moments of disappointment."
[14]"I don't need no love in my life."

I know some of the quotes seem bad, but I really suck at translating, but I hope you get the meaning of what I'm trying to say... (if it doesn't make sense, I'll try to fix it)

Enjoy!

Description: Ok, I'm pretty bored nowadays and have been thinking a lot of poetry because of school and what-not. Plus I might add it for an upcoming one-shot I'm doing and really need a poem to make it sound better.

Note: does not have to rhyme or anything, thought a free versed one is recommended most.

Summary:
(this is sorta an Edward Elric one if you wanna be specific)

Edward and y/n have been seperated for 2 years now because Ed sacrificed himself to get Al's body back.

So now it's y/n birthday (she's now 18/19) and the story changes to Y/N's POV (in amestris) to Edward's POV,(to germany) and ever since they've been seperated,it's always rained on y/n's birthday and practically every precious memory they've shared have been in the rain:first meet, kiss, date and so forth...

So what I'm asking is a poem about how they've been seperated, wishing to be together and, the most important factor, ends with somehong like "please don't let the rain stop" or something like that. Just as long as the story has (the most important factor) the rain in it. So the poem is a sad memory (sorta bittersweet...)

If you're still confused or need more ideas email me.

Description: OK I know this has happened to me a few times, when you read or hear a particular love quote and a story pops into my head. Now I want to know if you guys (and girls) do this as well.

Now all you have to do is take about ten quotes about love and write a one-shot, dabble, whatever with the love quote somewhere in there.

Rules.
Provide the love quote in the A/N.
The work of writing must either be centered around the quote(meaning it does not state the quote in the story but still upholds the theme) or have the quote in it. (If you like it could be both.)
Use any kind of quote that relates to love, (sad, happy, mixed)
You can use your own quotes!!!
At least ten quotes please. You can have more if you would like but aim for ten to start with.

OK writers I know you can do this. Ready and Type!

Description: The rules are plain and simple. As stated above, this challenge is about the 5 Stages of Grief. When a loved one dies, you go through four painful stages of grief before you reach the final: acceptance. So yes, there should be elements of angst in there unless you plan to do a parody of this (more power to you if you can pull it off!).

Stages:
1. Denial
2. Anger
3. Bargaining
4. Depression
5. Acceptance

Rules:
- Can be drabbles, ficlets, one-shots or a story
- Each chapter is dedicated to one stage
- Any fandom, any rating
- Reader-insert or not, it's up to you
- Prompts must be in order
- Put the response in your summary!

Description: This snow is getting on my nerves. So what better to do than issue a challenge about Summer?! Hokay, here's how it goes: you must pick at least one prompt from each category and write a drabble or a one-shot about each. Or you can do every prompt if you want. That'd be great if you did. Anyway, they don't all have to be about the same character and there's no minium of words needed, nor is there a maximum. Any character from any fandom is also welcome. The above fandoms are just ones that I'm familiar with. Feel free to do whatever with the prompt; you can change some words around or put it into a phrase, as long as the word is there. It can be used metaphorically or literally and the word doesn't have to be mentioned in the chapter. As long as the drabble/one-shot/chapter goes along with the meaning of the prompt, then it's completely legit. Get cracking!

Description: "I Believe in Pink", a challenge dedicated to Audrey Hepburn. For, who doesn't love that woman?

In essence, use portions of her infamous speech as prompts for drabbles, ficlets, chapters, whatever of a story.

As for requirements: there are none. I really don't care to limit your imagination.

1. "I believe in pink."

2. "I believe that laughter is the best medicine"

3. "I believe in kissing. Kissing a lot."

4. "I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong."

5. "I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls."

6. "I believe that tomorrow is another day."

7. "I believe in miracles."

Alright lovelies, that is all aspects of the *coughbestcough* speech *coughintheworldcough*. I hope it inspires you as much as it inspires me.

Description: Okay, so this is my challenge X3 I think it’s easy. Maybe ^^;.

--Write a series of drabbles for each and every one of these prompts! Unless, of course, there’s one or two that you absolutely can’t add in, but I’d prefer it if you used all of them. --Every single one of these 50 terms are musical terms, most in Italian, but some in French, German, English, even Latin.
--These terms are in alphabetical order. Re-arrange these in anyway you’d like or find convenient.
--If you have any other musical words that you want to put in, by all means add it in. But it has to be a musical term.
--Even though these prompts are musical terms, your fiction doesn't necessarily have to be musical.
--Any pairings, any POV. Pretty much everything goes.
--Also there are two words I put in here that might help. "Intro (opening section)" and "Fine (the end)".

Only one rule: Have fun with this! ^.^

Description: The rules are simple:
Write something that scares you. Write something you are uncomfortable saying aloud. Write something that takes a risk; any kind of risk. Make it a personal anecdote. Say what you need to say. Say what you want to say. Don't think about how it might sound, what people may thing. Don't trick yourself into believing that you aren't trying hard enough. Give us a part of yourself that only comes out in whispers under your breath when you're alone. Give us something you can't quite tell anyone yet. Give us everything you'ev for that shakes and breaks you. Allow others to experience love and anger and sorrow and fear and happiness. Be terrified you've let someone see that part of you. Remember that we tell stories to survive.

If your fingers tremble over what you've found, you've done something right.

No boundaries on this, whatsoever. Write whatever you feel comfortable with, but don't forget: No Shame. Don't be afraid.

[Disclaimer: prompt found online, therefor I do not own it.]

Description: This contest is simple: write a fanfic starring already-existing canon characters--and ONLY already-existing canon characters.

The rules are as follows:

1. The main protagonist of the fanfic MUST be a canon character.

2. Any secondary protagonists (i.e., the best friend, love interest, etc.) MUST be canon characters.

3. As much as possible, more minor roles (i.e., former love interest, mentor, etc) as well as roles occupied by antagonists should be taken by canon characters. If that is not feasible, then an OC can do the job; however, said OC MUST NOT divert attention away from the canon characters (admittedly, an OC villain may get people's attention because villains do that, but you must do nothing to force this).

4. NO Real Person Fic allowed

5. Most genres will be accepted, as long as the canon character can be made to star in it. For further qualifications, see below:

5a. ABSOLUTELY NO PORN!

5b. CYOA's are allowed, but the POV character must be a canon character.

5c. Slash fic of any kind is a valid option, but is not encouraged.

6. Story length should be limited to 10 chapters max.

This challenge will run for one year, starting today (2/15/12).

Description: This was made in 1:16 in the morning... But I just came up with a great idea! The idea is to use each gemstone listed below in a chapter (if you are writing a chaptered story) of your story. They could be used literally ("I gazed at the diamond that rested upon the ebony desk") or figuratively ("His eyes were two glistening jades") They do not have to be in the order they are listed and you do not have to use all of them.

1. Ruby
2. Citrine
3. Emerald
4. Amber
5. Diamond
6. Quartz
7. Pearl
8. Onyx
9. Jasper
10. Agate
11. Peridot
12. Opal
13. Amethyst
14.Garnet
15. Turquoise
16. Topaz
17. Rodolite

Also, there is one rule: do not describe eye color every time!. I can give you hint on what you can describe, though: emotions. (Ex. Ruby: anger, sapphire: unhappiness). Gemstones can represent any emotion that it reminds YOU of, I was just giving an example. If you have another idea on how you could describe something with a gem, that's GREAT! Have fun!

Description: The five deadly terms, plus one, used by women that men should be wary of. Most men however, are too stupid or arrogant to know when to quit while they're ahead.

Disclaimer: The prompts do not belong to me. As far as I know they belong to Whoopi Goldberg.

Rules:

[1] You must show in the summary that you have accepted my challenge, since I'd love to read what you've written.

[2] It can be any length, as long as it's over one hundred words.

[3] You can use any pairing you want and OC's as well as Reader Inserts are accepted. Yuri is accepted, also. Genre - romance/smut/crack - does not matter; all of that is all up to you.

[4] You can use any fandom you like or no fandom at all.

[5] They do not have to be in order.

[6] You must do all of them.

Prompts:

1. Fine - This is the word women use to end an argument when she knows she is right and you need to shut-up.

2. Nothing - Means something and you need to be worried.

3. Go Ahead - This is a dare, not permission, do not do it.

4. Whatever - A woman's way of saying 'screw you'.

5. That's Okay - She is thinking long and hard on how and when you will pay for your mistake.

Bonus: Wow - This is not a compliment. She's amazed that one person could be so stupid.

Description:

I read a lot, but I always find that it's hard to find a good book/story.

This is your challenge:

To write a good story that I will enjoy reading. It can be any fandom of your choice, or it can be an original piece. Heck, it can even be nonfiction! (Fiction is still preferable, though.)

There is no deadline.

As long as it's good, post it here. I'll eat it up and be forever grateful. :)
