Summary: It is the obligation of all parents and guardians to bring up their children as best as possible and do everything they can for them. That being said, it should also be there obligation to allow them to learn, grow, and give them the freedom they deserve as human beings and individuals, not do what’s best for their own religion. I.E. force their own religious beliefs on them. There’s no excuse for it.
Everyone should have the liberty to decide on their own accord exactly what faith they choose to believe in (if any). Trivial matters such as sex, race, or age shouldn't play a role in this.
